As part of this commitment, we will be performing the annual generator load test (black start). We see this investment as an important part of the service we provide, ensuring optimum uptime and continuity for your business. 5GN will be performing an annual generator load test at Melbourne Data Centre. During maintenance work, technicians will simulate a mains failure and transfer the load to/from mains and generator which will confirm all emergency power systems operate correctly. During the maintenance window, our facilities manager will be onsite to supervise the maintenance work carried out by our approved vendors.
